I have something to admit: I’m a tab-whore. When I’m on my computer, I usually have 2 to 3 Chrome windows open, and each one of those windows can have anywhere from 5 to 20 tabs.
Yes, this slows down my computer’s performance, and yes, it makes my computer look messy. I’m no psychologist, but it can also make my brain feel disorganized from time to time.
What I’m trying to say is that there is one easy way to de-clutter your computer and your brain, and that easy way is called OneTab.

What is OneTab?

OneTab is a simple plugin/extension for Chrome that allows users to quickly and easily manage their tabs. Instead of leaving dozens of tabs open at the same time, OneTab compresses all of those tabs into a simple list, and then allows users to open the list in a new tab. When you click on a URL in the list, it will open in a new tab.
Users can easily remove items from the list, restore their tabs, and even import/export lists of URLs however they want.

How it works

Step 1) Download and install OneTab from the Chrome Web Store
Step 2) After installing the extension, you’ll see a new icon in the top right corner of your screen. It took me a few seconds to figure out what that icon is, but I’m not too smart. Anyways, it’s a funnel.
Step 3) When you’re browsing the internet and find yourself overwhelmed by the number of tabs on your screen, you can simply click that funnel OneTab icon to minimize all open tabs and show them as lists in a new tab.
Step 4) Once the tabs are in this list, you can perform all the tasks we discussed above, including:
-Import/export lists of tabs
-Open your tabs, close them, and access them again
-Generate a QR code for your list of URLs that can be opened on any mobile device with a QR reader app
The plugin even keeps a record of all the tabs you’ve ever saved to the plugin, making it easy to revisit old memories or whatever you do with your old browser history.
Remember: OneTab is an easy way to declutter your browser and declutter your brain. It is guaranteed to increase PC performance and reduce resource usage. If you’re one of those people like me who always has lots of tabs open, OneTab is an easy way to make any PC faster.
