FIFA is the world’s most popular sports video game. Video game sport? Sporting video game? I don’t know what the proper term is here, but FIFA is really popular.
FIFA 15 will be one of the biggest FIFA games yet. The franchise aims to capitalize on this summer’s 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
We won’t see the official FIFA 15 trailer until E3 starts on June 9, but EA Sports was kind enough to preview some important details for us.
Those details include an 11 second trailer that shows a man kicking a ball for 3 seconds. The rest of the trailer is just EA logos (seriously). You can view the “trailer” here.
Other important details about FIFA 15 include a PC release that will include the same features as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will also run on EA’s Ignite engine – which is coming to PC for the first time ever.

EA also released the recommended PC specifications, which include:

Minimum specifications

FIFA 15 will arrive in September 2014 (at least, we assume that’s the release date because all previous games have arrived the last week of September). It will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and, most importantly, PC.
Personally, I hope EA starts to bring back all its sports titles to PC with all the same features. The PC versions of its latest sports games have been dreadful shells of its real games. Is it too much to ask to play NHL and Madden in full PC resolution, framerates, and graphics? Let’s hope FIFA isn’t the only franchise returning to PC.
