YouTube has released its annual video summing up the biggest video trends of the year 2015.
This year’s typically zany mashup features the usual blend of YouTube celebrities, trends, and memes.
The main difference between this year’s rewind and the rewinds from years past is that it also includes reenactments of things that happened in previous years.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I recognized fewer people in this year’s YouTube rewind than any other year before it. Does that mean the annual rewind is one of the best ways to gauge your understanding of pop culture? Maybe.
The video starts off strong with the song of the summer, Omi’s Cheerleader and mashes it up with Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean.
And it wouldn’t be a complete 2015 windup without a little nae nae, which gets mixed with song trends from every decade.
As part of this year’s Rewind, YouTube also released its most popular commercials, videos, and gaming clips of 2015, which you can check over at the official YouTube page. You can also see those rankings below.

What was your favorite video of 2015? Personally, I’m surprised that 1.3 billion people watched Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again. It wasn’t that good.
Okay, I take it back. Given the Paul Walker situation, that song is pretty darn beautiful.
