It’s no secret that the PC is the best gaming device in the world today.
Better graphics, mods, game sales, customizability. Do I really have to go on?
In any case, we’re really excited for GTA V to come to PC. Rockstar recently announced that GTA V was coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC this fall.
Better yet, Rockstar teased that GTA V will receive “across-the-board enhancements” in the PC version.
That news comes from the GTA 5 PC listing on Steam, where Rockstar actually makes a lot of exciting claims. The first and most important claim is the following:
“Grand Theft Auto V for PC will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements.”

Rockstar doesn’t get too specific with its enhancements, although it does mention some new features. Expanded features include:
-Denser traffic
-Increased resolution and graphical detail
-Greater draw distances
-Upgraded AI
-New wildlife
-A video editor for enhanced movie making
-Advanced weather and damage effects “for the ultimate open world experience.”
The PC version will also come with Grand Theft Auto Online, which is basically a separate MMO where you can rise through the criminal ranks across Los Santos.
The news I’m most excited about, however, is being able to transfer your characters and progression from the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 to the Playstation 4, Xbox One, or PC.
It’s no secret that GTA V was held back from its true potential on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Cities weren’t as dense as they should have been, the graphics weren’t as sharp, and the explosions didn’t feel nearly destructive enough.

When GTA V arrives on next-gen, it’s going to fix all of those problems. Looks like it’s time to revisit the city of Los Santos.
You can view the GTA 5 Steam listing here, although you won’t be able to preorder the game at this moment.
