What is Lacazette Trader? And how does it work?
Lacazette Trader is an adware program that spreads as a Google Chrome extension. If installed, it immediately alters your browsers’ settings and starts to flood your browsers with never-ending ads. This potentially unwanted program is capable of modifying your browsers’ default home page and default search engine with a suspicious and unknown domain. However, one of the dangerous traits of this unwanted program is that once it is installed and it is able to modify your settings, you will be constantly facing aggressive online ads and you will be often redirected to unknown sites that may contain harmful threats.
The Lacazette Trader ads are mostly misleading; it may inform you about a detected virus which is usually in a form of a fake error scam alert, or fake software updates and offer you discounted price of some products and a whole lot more. Once you click them, you might be rerouted to tricky websites that can bring in even more threats.
How is Lacazette Trader distributed?
This ad-supported program can sneak into your computer bundled with free software or you may be forced into installing it after visiting a malicious website. When you visit these kinds of website, you will be redirected to suspicious sites like the lacazette.trade website where you will be pressured to add this browser extension. Pressured because you will be asked to install the suspicious browser extension in order for you to leave the website and even if you click the Cancel button, the pop-up won’t close and the window changes instead and you will be asked to tick the box claiming “Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs”. Ticking the box and clicking OK will only turn the browser into full screen mode, thus, users will be forced to install the potentially unwanted program. That’s why it is a must that you remove this unwanted program to prevent possible damage to your computer.
Follow the removal guide below to successfully remove Lacazette Trader:
Step 1: Launch Google Chrome.
Step 2: Click the wrench icon. And from the drop-down menu click on Tools and then select Extensions.
Step 3: Under the Extensions tab, select Lacazette Trader or other suspicious browser extensions related to it and then click on the Trash icon.
Step 4: Click on Remove button from the confirmation dialog box.
Step 5: Reset Google Chrome. To do that, click the three stripes icon located at the upper-right corner of your screen. And then select Settings.
Step 6: under Settings, look for Show advanced settings at the bottom of the page and click on it.
Step 7: Then click on the Reset browser settings button.
Step 8: After that, a dialog box pops up, click the Reset button to Reset Chrome.
Step 9: After you reset Chrome, enable the Phishing and Malware Protection in Chrome to prevent PUPs like Lacazette Trader from infecting your computer again in the future. To do that, click Settings once again.
Step 10: Select the Show advanced settings again.
Step 11: Go to the Privacy section and check the Enable phishing and malware protection option.
Step 12: Restart Chrome.
Step 13: Perform a full system scan using an excellent antivirus and anti malware program like SpyRemover Pro. Turn on your computer. If it’s already on, you have to reboot it.

After that, the BIOS screen will be displayed, but if Windows pops up instead, reboot your computer and try again. Once you’re on the BIOS screen, repeat pressing F8, by doing so the Advanced Option shows up.

A single space must be in between explorer and http. Click OK.
