Is it worth it?
Based on the hardware listed above, gamers who buy the Razer Blade are paying a steep premium for the design and aesthetics of the laptop. The hardware packs more than enough power to get you through today’s video games at a decent framerate and high graphic setting, although it won’t maintain this top-of-the-line performance for very long.
Ultimately, for $2,500, gamers can buy a desktop PC with better specs than the ones listed above AND buy a decent gaming laptop while they’re at it. Expect to pay about $800 to $1,200 for a desktop PC with the parts listed above and another $1,000 to $1,300 for a powerful gaming laptop. With competition like that, it’s tough to recommend spending $2,500 on a single piece of hardware like the Blade.
