Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Ganhame.dw is a hazardous Trojan horse which has a purpose to know your financial information, take over computer’s system resources, and in worst cases, create a “denial-of-service attack ” which is to make a machine or network resource unavailable to those wanting to reach it. For example, your Yahoo or Gmail can be temporarily unavailable.
How did you get this?
Usually, The Trojan virus is attached to spam emails, online chats, instant messages and video games download and more. You can also acquire it from downloading software from unsecured sites as a bundle. Once installed, it creeps to your computer automatically without you, knowing it. Then, it will do a lot of damage and can even corrupt your computer.

It can alter your system settings such as homepage, LAN, DNS, stops some programs on your PC from running and delete important files.

It Can record your browsing history and extract your personal information that might be sold to hackers.
Thus, we can truly say that this virus is a nasty one. The longer it stays in a user’s PC, the greater damage the owner might suffer. So, once detected, please delete it as soon as you can.
 

1st Method: Manually remove Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Ganhame.dw

Step 1: Restart the computer and enter Safe Mode.

Keep on pressing F8 key until Windows launches. Then, select “Safe Mode with Networking” and then press “Enter”.
Step 2: Stop Trojan GameThief.Win32.Ganhame.dw from running on your system.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys simultaneously. In the Processes section, try to check suspicious programs and right click to end them.
Step 3: Show hidden files on your PC and then delete the malicious ones.
Start button>>Control Panel>>Appearance and Themes>>Folder Options.
Try to find “Show hidden files and folders” in view tab and deselect “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)”. And then click “Apply”. Go to local disk C or other place to search for them and delete them.

Step 4: Delete all entries of Trojan GameThief.Win32.Ganhame.dw Click Start and find Run. Input “regedit” and then click “OK”. When the Registry Editor pops, find out all the harmful keys and right click to remove them. Carefully remove ONLY the malicious items.

2nd Method: Automatically Remove TrojanGameThief.Win32.Ganhame.dw

Step 1: Install SpyHunter.
Step 2: Follow the install guide to correctly install the program.
Accept the Setup Agreement, after the installation is completed, click “Finish”.
Step 3: Launch SpyHunter and click “Malware Scan”
Step 4: Once the scan finishes, click “Select All” and “Fix Threats” to completely make your computer Trojan-free.
